Storing Herbs…

Did you happen to see the blog I did back in October about storing lettuce? If you didn’t, you should definitely check it out because that tip will keep your lettuce green and crispy for weeks. After following that advice for the past few months, I can confirm that I have kept romaine lettuce fresh for over a month!

Lately I have been incorporating a lot of fresh parsley and cilantro into our meals, and along with that comes the frustration of trying to keep fresh herbs fresh. After a few weeks of failed attempts it finally dawned on me, they are leafy greens, why not store them like the lettuce? So anyways, I’m just letting you know, that same fabulous trick for lettuce works perfectly for fresh herbs.
