The Journal.

Josh bought this journal as a gift for me on our first night in our first apartment together. We had seen it several months prior while window-shopping in Uptown. I was delighted when he got it for me, but I found myself wondering if we’d actually make the time to write in it regularly.

Well, we have. The 5-year journal has a wonderful concept—each page has the day’s date at the top (Day/Month) and is followed by 5 small areas. Each area is only big enough for a sentence or two—but that keeps it simple and makes you think of what the day’s highlight really was. The idea is that you will write on that same page for five years, and will then eventually have a compilation of what happened to you on that exact day for the past 5 years. We’re looking forward to being able to look back.
