Matchy Maids…

In preparation for a very large dress shopping event this weekend (and I say large because it is involving 8 women, 2 brides, and an endless abyss of lace and taffeta), I have been caught more than once this week scoping out dresses online. There will be no matching bridesmaid dresses at our wedding, but a small section of my closet will tell you that I have worn my fair share of lovely Bridesmaid Ensembles.

I want each of my bridesmaids to do their own thing, create their own ensemble that brings out their own personality, and then I’m going to custom make fabulous jewelry for each of their outfits. But, while looking at wedding dresses I happened to stumble across this company, TwoBirds Bridesmaids, and I think what they’ve got goin on is pretty neat.

The company boasts a “one size fits all” bridesmaid dress that can be worn 15 different ways—giving the bride the option to have the traditional, uniform bridesmaids, or allowing each girl to tie her dress in a different way and spice things up a bit.  Hmmm, unique and creative, I like this. Although I will not be having my maids order these dresses, I definitely wouldn’t be opposed if the next wedding I was in killed “Two Birds” with “one dress”.
